Your iPad contains a lot of personal and private information. Leaving your iPad on a desk or table somewhere without using the security features is like leaving your personal journal open for everyone to read – sometimes even worse. Below are five easy things you can do to help protect your information and help you find your iPad if you ever lose it.

1. Use Passcode Lock

2. Tell Siri who you are

3. Use Find My iPad

4. Keep username and password lists in a protected document.

5. Have a unique picture as your lock screen.
