Amani Alnaqbi

Amani Alnaqbi, an ambitious smart lady is always aiming to apply best of her knowledge & skills to be part of HCT’s success & add a value to her great country, UAE.

Amani graduated from the HCT, AlAin Women’s College with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science (Application Development). She started working in December 2017 at Abu Dhabi Women’s College as SANAD Champion.  SANAD (Support and Advance Nationals to Achieve and Distinguish) is a new initiative Launched by HCT, which is designed to enable HCT graduates to gain workplace training, hands-on experience, job-relevant knowledge, skills, and exposure to new technology and systems.  Amani was assigned in the Education Technology department at ADWC. Her role was to assist the LMS team at ADWC in their day to day tasks (e.g. FWA Exams Supporting).

In April 2018, Amani moved from being a SANAD champion to a permanent employee at Higher Colleges of Technology and worked as Officer-Textbook, Educational Technology department.   In her current role as an Officer-Textbook with the central Ed Tech team, she is responsible for procuring eTexts and ensuring that they are uploaded on the LMS and made available for all relevant faculty and students. She also assists the Senior Officer – Helpdesk in the central Ed Tech team on administrative functions which involved Testing of blackboard tools and functions and new implementations. In her role also, she is responsible for providing ongoing central helpdesk support to campus LMS teams, faculty and students across campuses through MyHCT Support platform.

Amani is extremely passionate about the environment and Astronomy.
